This beautiful pendant lamp, model 'Onion', was designed by Alessandro Pianon for Vistosi in Italy.
It has an orange Murano hand blown glass globe.
The inside has opaline white glass that gives a beautiful warm and pleasant light.
The cable has a steel wire.
Two different sizes were produced.
This is the large version with a diameter of 45 cm.
It is in a very good condition with minor signs of age and use.
Height: 123 cm (cable can be easily shortened).
Globe height: 40 cm.
Diameter: 45 cm.
The lamp is fitted with new wiring and a large E27 socket.
Origin: Italy, 1950s.
Material: Glass.

Alessandro Pianon was born in Venice, Italy, attended architecture school in Venice and used his talents to become an architect and designer. He was hired by Vetreria Vistosi in 1956 to design the company logo and subsequently created numerous glass collections.
