Verner Panton, born in 1926 in Gamtofte, Denmark.
From 1950-'52 he works for the architectural firm of Arne Jacobsen
and in 1955 he starts his own architecture and design office.
It initially stands out for its geometric shapes
based furniture from the company 'Plus-linje'. In the next
years, countless seating furniture and lamps have been created.
Panton's interior designs, which are intended to cover floors, walls and
ceilings plus furniture, lamps, textiles and enamel wall panels
resp. plastic into a masterly and inseparable spatial
unity are legendary.
Verner Panton died in Copenhagen in 1998.
